Chainmail scrubbers · private label
Chainmail scrubbers stainless steel ring scrubbers for cast iron cookware
A chainmail scrubber is a small sheet of interlinked stainless steel rings that scrapes stuck food off cast iron without soap-heavy scouring. It is light, ships cheaply and is the most natural add-on to any cast iron order. KettleForge supplies chainmail scrubbers to cookware brands, kitchen retailers, outdoor brands and e-commerce sellers — flat, with silicone insert or with handle, branded and packed for peg hooks or for the inside of your cookware boxes. See all cast iron accessories.
- Stainless steel rings; grade specified per order
- About 4 × 4, 6 × 6, 7 × 7 and 8 × 8 in (typical)
- Flat, silicone-insert, round or handled styles
- Logo tag, header card or in-box packing
Chainmail scrubber styles
- Flat square scrubbers — the classic format, about 4 × 4 to 8 × 8 in; folds in the hand to fit corners.
- Scrubbers with silicone insert — a silicone or sponge core inside the mesh for grip and shape.
- Round scrubbers — circular mesh, sometimes with a ring to hang.
- Handled scrubbers — chainmail on a wood or plastic handle, popular for grill pans and griddles.
- Scrubber + scraper kits — paired with a plastic pan scraper as a care kit.
Materials and construction
Rings are stainless steel; the grade (for example 304 or 316) is specified per order and stated on the quotation. Ring diameter and wire thickness set the scrubbing feel: smaller rings and thicker wire feel firmer and hold together better. Rings are welded or tightly closed so they do not open in use; closure method and edge finish are checked on the sample. Bare cast iron is cleaned with water and the scrubber, then dried and lightly oiled — care instructions are printed in your brand style.
Packaging and bundling
Options include a branded hang tag, a printed header card for peg hooks, a kraft box, a polybag with insert card, or packing straight into a skillet, dutch oven or cookware set box. Because scrubbers are light and compact, they are an efficient way to raise order value in mixed containers.

Frequently asked questions
What size chainmail scrubber is most popular?
Around 6 × 6 to 7 × 7 in for skillets; smaller 4 × 4 in versions are common as in-box add-ons.
Which stainless steel grade do you use?
The grade (for example 304 or 316) is specified per order and stated on the quotation.
Does a chainmail scrubber remove seasoning?
It is designed to lift stuck food while leaving a well-bonded seasoning layer in place; care instructions advise drying and light oiling after cleaning.
Can scrubbers be packed inside our cookware boxes?
Yes — a small scrubber in a polybag or kraft sleeve is a common in-box add-on.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the item, finish (pre-seasoned or enameled, enamel color), logo method and packaging — stock patterns with a laser-marked logo in neutral packaging start lower than new cast-in logos, custom enamel colors or printed retail boxes. Lead time depends on the pattern, finish and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
Is your cookware certified or tested for food contact?
We do not display certification badges or publish test results on this site. Food-contact documentation and testing are arranged per the buyer’s market requirements and confirmed per order: tell us the destination market and sales channel, and we confirm on the quotation which documentation and third-party testing can be arranged for your specific SKUs. See the export documentation section of our specs guide.
