Cast iron woks · OEM & wholesale
Cast iron woks flat-bottom and round-bottom woks for western and wok-burner kitchens
A cast iron wok holds a lot of heat, which keeps stir-fries searing on household burners that cannot match a restaurant wok range. KettleForge supplies cast iron woks to cookware brands, Asian-cooking and kitchen retailers and e-commerce sellers — flat-bottom for flat cooktops and induction, round-bottom for wok burners and rings, with loop or long handles and matching lids. Part of our cast iron skillets and pans range.
- Flat-bottom (cooktops, induction) or round-bottom
- Common sizes around 12–14 in
- Standard or thin-wall (lighter) castings
- Wood or glass lid, steaming rack, wok ring
Cast iron wok designs
- Flat-bottom woks — a flat base that sits on electric, gas and induction cooktops; the main format for western retail.
- Round-bottom woks — the traditional shape for wok burners and wok rings; usually lighter thin-wall castings.
- Loop-handle woks — two cast loop handles; compact and oven-friendly.
- Long-handle woks — a long handle (cast, or steel with a wood grip) plus a helper handle for tossing.
- Enameled woks — colored exterior and black enamel interior for color-led ranges.
Wall thickness and weight
Standard cast iron woks are heavy — a 14 in flat-bottom loop-handle wok can be around 10–12 lb (4.5–5.5 kg) as a planning figure. Thin-wall castings, traditional in Chinese iron woks, cut that substantially and heat faster, at a higher casting difficulty. If the end user will toss food, ask for a thin-wall design or consider carbon steel (see cast iron vs carbon steel). Final weights are confirmed per SKU.
Lids, racks and wok kits
Wok kits sell well online: a wooden or tempered-glass lid, a steaming rack, a wok ring for round-bottom woks, a spatula and a chainmail scrubber or bamboo brush. Kits can carry your logo, recipe card and gift box.

Frequently asked questions
Flat-bottom or round-bottom cast iron wok?
Flat-bottom for flat cooktops and induction — the usual western retail choice. Round-bottom for wok burners or with a wok ring.
Are cast iron woks too heavy?
Standard-wall cast iron woks are heavy; thin-wall castings are much lighter. We quote both and confirm weight per SKU.
Can you supply a wok with a lid?
Yes — wooden or tempered-glass lids, plus optional steaming rack and wok ring.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the item, finish (pre-seasoned or enameled, enamel color), logo method and packaging — stock patterns with a laser-marked logo in neutral packaging start lower than new cast-in logos, custom enamel colors or printed retail boxes. Lead time depends on the pattern, finish and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
Is your cookware certified or tested for food contact?
We do not display certification badges or publish test results on this site. Food-contact documentation and testing are arranged per the buyer’s market requirements and confirmed per order: tell us the destination market and sales channel, and we confirm on the quotation which documentation and third-party testing can be arranged for your specific SKUs. See the export documentation section of our specs guide.
