Cast iron griddles reversible, double-burner and round griddles for kitchen, grill and campsite

A cast iron griddle is a flat, heavy cooking surface for pancakes, smash burgers, eggs and flatbreads — on the stovetop, the grill or over a campfire. KettleForge supplies cast iron griddles to cookware brands, BBQ and outdoor brands, kitchen retailers, foodservice suppliers and e-commerce sellers: reversible grill/griddle plates, double-burner and single-burner griddles, round griddles and sizzle plates, pre-seasoned or enameled, with your logo and packaging.

  • Reversible: flat griddle one side, grill ribs the other
  • Double-burner (~20 × 10½ in) and single-burner sizes
  • Round griddles and foodservice sizzle plates
  • Grease channel, handles and logo per design

Cast iron griddle formats

  • Reversible grill/griddle plates — flat on one side, ribbed on the other; the best-selling format for stovetops and gas grills. The ribbed side overlaps with our grill pans.
  • Double-burner griddles — long rectangular plates (around 20 × 10½ in is common) spanning two burners, with cast handles at each end.
  • Single-burner square griddles — around 10½–11 in, often with a long handle like a skillet.
  • Round griddles — low-rimmed rounds around 10½–12 in for pancakes, tortillas and flatbreads.
  • Griddle plates for grills and camp stoves — sized to fit specific grill grates or two-burner camp stoves; dimensions set per the buyer’s grill.
  • Sizzle (fajita) plates — small oval or rectangular cast iron plates with a wooden underliner, for restaurant table service.

Design details: grease channel, flatness, handles

A raised rim or a grease channel with a drain spout keeps fat off the cooktop. Plate thickness and ribbing underneath affect weight and how evenly the surface sits on a burner; flatness is checked at the sample stage. End handles are cast loops sized for oven mitts; hanging holes are optional. As a planning figure, a reversible double-burner plate of about 20 × 10½ in weighs around 8–10 lb (3.6–4.5 kg), confirmed per SKU.

Griddles for BBQ, outdoor and foodservice buyers

BBQ and grill brands bundle griddle plates sized to their grates; outdoor brands sell them with camp stoves and camping dutch ovens; kitchen retailers stock reversible plates and round griddles; and foodservice suppliers buy sizzle plates and serving griddles in volume. A griddle is also a standard piece in a cast iron cookware set.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best-selling cast iron griddle format?

Reversible grill/griddle plates spanning two burners are the usual core SKU; round griddles and single-burner squares round out a range.

Can you size a griddle to our grill?

Yes — send the grate or burner dimensions and we size the plate, handles and grease channel to fit.

Do you supply sizzle plates for restaurants?

Yes — oval or rectangular cast iron sizzle plates with wooden underliners, quoted in foodservice packs.

Is a griddle different from a grill pan?

A griddle is flat; a grill pan has raised ribs. Reversible plates offer both.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the item, finish (pre-seasoned or enameled, enamel color), logo method and packaging — stock patterns with a laser-marked logo in neutral packaging start lower than new cast-in logos, custom enamel colors or printed retail boxes. Lead time depends on the pattern, finish and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.

Is your cookware certified or tested for food contact?

We do not display certification badges or publish test results on this site. Food-contact documentation and testing are arranged per the buyer’s market requirements and confirmed per order: tell us the destination market and sales channel, and we confirm on the quotation which documentation and third-party testing can be arranged for your specific SKUs. See the export documentation section of our specs guide.
