Cast iron bread pans open and lidded loaf pans in pre-seasoned or enameled cast iron
A cast iron bread pan gives loaves an even, deeply colored crust and holds its shape for decades. KettleForge supplies cast iron loaf pans to cookware brands, baking and kitchen retailers and e-commerce sellers — open and lidded, pre-seasoned or enameled, sized to standard US loaf recipes. Part of our cast iron bakeware range.
- Standard ~9 × 5 in and 8½ × 4½ in loaf sizes
- Open or lidded (sandwich-loaf) designs
- Pre-seasoned or enameled finishes
- Loop handles; logo cast in or laser-marked
Bread pan designs
- Open loaf pans — straight or slightly flared walls with end handles; the standard format.
- Lidded loaf pans — a flat lid for square sandwich loaves; the lid can double as a small baking tray.
- Mini loaf pans — single-portion or multi-cavity pans for quick breads and gifts.
- Bread pots — for round boules, many bakers use a domed bread pot or a 5–6 qt cast iron dutch oven.
Sizes and capacity
US loaf recipes are written for pans about 9 × 5 in or 8½ × 4½ in (internal, at the top), roughly 2½–3 in deep. We size the casting to those internal dimensions so recipes work as written. As a planning figure a 9 × 5 in cast iron loaf pan weighs about 4–5 lb (1.8–2.3 kg); confirmed per SKU.
Seasoned or enameled loaf pans
Pre-seasoned loaf pans are the classic option; enameled loaf pans sell on color and need no seasoning by the end user, and they pair well with an enameled dutch oven line. Food-contact documentation is arranged per your market and confirmed per order.

Frequently asked questions
What size is a standard cast iron bread pan?
About 9 × 5 in or 8½ × 4½ in internal at the top, matching common US loaf recipes.
Do you make lidded loaf pans?
Yes — for square sandwich loaves; the lid can also be used as a small tray.
Can we get an enameled loaf pan in our brand color?
Yes, enamel colors are matched to your standard at the sample stage.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the item, finish (pre-seasoned or enameled, enamel color), logo method and packaging — stock patterns with a laser-marked logo in neutral packaging start lower than new cast-in logos, custom enamel colors or printed retail boxes. Lead time depends on the pattern, finish and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
Is your cookware certified or tested for food contact?
We do not display certification badges or publish test results on this site. Food-contact documentation and testing are arranged per the buyer’s market requirements and confirmed per order: tell us the destination market and sales channel, and we confirm on the quotation which documentation and third-party testing can be arranged for your specific SKUs. See the export documentation section of our specs guide.
